A fluid white satin top with a wide boat neckline that falls easily off one shoulder, gathered into a high cotton rib waistband that defines the waist. Soft movement above, structure below. Re-produced in Turin from Oscalito deadstock, as part of the Oscalito × Canto Primo capsule.

The piece

The Lux Top is a fluid satin top from the Oscalito × Canto Primo capsule. Its wide boat neckline can sit straight or slip off one shoulder, and the satin bodice follows the body with ease. A wide, high cotton rib band wraps the waist, defining the silhouette and creating a strong contrast of textures, finished with a lettuce-edge hem.

The material

Oscalito is an Italian luxury intimate-wear house based in Turin. The Lux Top combines two of Oscalito's surplus materials — satin and cotton rib — that had remained unused in their production. Canto Primo designed the piece around those existing materials, and it was re-produced in Turin, on site with Oscalito. The composition refers to the recovered source materials; no new fabric was produced.

Why it is limited

The capsule is built entirely from existing material, so quantities are capped: 500 pieces across 15 styles. When the material runs out, the style ends.
